"patience is a virtue"
hm I agree but when does the foot come down and you start steering. I have countless experience of waiting, waiting and waiting and nothing... just nothing. So, the choice was simple, no more waiting, here is your chance, shining moment, moment of glory... wrong! still nothing. currently in search of this balance between being patient and impatient. I see examples where people would wait and good results occur but I've seen it the other way too... but neither has seem to worked very well for me. just another argument to reinforce the unique of each individual... but I am so unwilling to accept that. it seems like an excuse!
flip the switch, I think I have been thinking of patience entirely wrong. it seems patience requires one to "wait" or bear through something until the time is right... but now I feel that it is more of a 'place holder' word for myself as being incapable, incompetent, not ready. so until you are fully prepared for whatever the task, than there would be no hesitation, patience would not be required.
in turn, patience is a trait of a person, the patience they may possess in themselves...
